Glossary
Canonical AACSearch OS terminology with locked EN ↔ RU translations. The vocabulary the docs, marketing, dashboard and SDKs all resolve to. Don't translate brand terms; do translate concepts.
This is the source of truth for AACSearch OS terminology. Every other
docs page, marketing block, dashboard string and SDK message should
resolve to one of the entries below. RU translations are locked — do not
re-translate them per page.
The "RU" column lists the canonical Russian rendering. "Don't
translate" means leave the term in English (brand or technical token);
the gloss in parentheses is for context only.

| facet / filter | фасет / фильтр | "Facet" is the rendered drilldown UI; "filter" is the API parameter (filterBy). Don't conflate them. |

If you are about to publish copy that uses a term not in this table, add
it to this page first. If you are unsure of a translation, default to
"don't translate" (keep the EN form) and open an issue tagged i18n with
the term plus context — it's better to ship transliteration consistency
than free-form re-translation per page.
The apps/docs/scripts/check-forbidden-terms.py script (#67/#64) catches
the banned phrasings. A glossary linter for the required renderings
is tracked separately in #64.
