Connector protocol
Each connector module talks to AACSearch via the
Connector API. The handshake response from
POST /api/connectors/handshake declares platform.minModuleVersion —
the minimum module version that AACSearch will accept syncs from.
When that floor moves, this changelog ships a 60-day notice before the floor lifts. Modules below the floor receive a 426 Upgrade Required on the next sync attempt and are pointed at the relevant migration page.
Recent releases
Migrated entries land here as connector modules formalise their release cadence. Until then, each platform's own admin page lists the installed module version.
Module distribution
Connector modules ship through the platform's own marketplace
(PrestaShop Addons, Bitrix Marketplace, Shopify App Store, etc.).
AACSearch publishes the source under the aacsearch/connector-<platform>
GitHub repos.
The control plane never auto-upgrades a module on a customer's storefront. Upgrades are explicit and triggered by the storefront operator.
Widget changelog
[TODO i18n — see issue #76] Release notes for @aacsearch/widget — the vanilla JS Shadow DOM search widget. Subscribe here if you embed the widget on a public site and want CDN-version notices.
Feature status taxonomy
[TODO i18n — see issue #76] How AACSearch labels feature availability across docs, marketing and the dashboard. Every feature flagged on a docs page resolves to one of these six states.
