AACSearch / guide
Plans, usage and credits
What each plan grants, how requests are counted, what an AI credit buys and costs, how RUB payments and renewals work, and what happens when a limit is reached.
AACSearch bills in two independent ways, and confusing them is the most common billing mistake:
- a subscription sets what your organization may do — which features are available and how many requests per month it may make;
- a wallet pays for AI operations — model calls are metered in credits, whether or not a subscription is active.
A plan grant bundles included credits each period. A top-up adds credits without changing the plan.
What each plan grants
| Row label / название строки | Free | Starter | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | 0 RUB | 990 RUB / month | 4,990 RUB / month |
| Requests per month | 1,000 | 5,000 | 50,000 |
| Included credits per period | 1,000 (once) | 10,000 | 100,000 |
| Search profiles per collection | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| Search, synonyms, stopwords | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Curation, search rules, analytics, recommendations | No | Yes | Yes |
| Experiments, assistants, voice, image, semantic and natural-language search | No | No | Yes |
Enterprise is by agreement. These are the default monthly RUB prices; the authenticated billing page shows the configured amount and whether checkout is enabled. Prices are versioned, so an existing subscription keeps the price it was sold at.
Ask the API what you have
GET /entitlement returns the organization's plan and its features array,
which is exactly what the platform enforces. Use it to hide what a plan does
not cover instead of discovering it through a 403.
A new organization gets a 14-day Pro trial with full feature access and no card. When the trial ends without a subscription, the organization falls back to the free tier; stored data is retained.
What a credit is
One credit is one minor currency unit — one kopeck in RUB, one cent in USD and EUR. A credit is not a request: requests are counted against the monthly quota, credits pay for model calls.
If you buy credits with money, the conversion is a deployment-configured rate
(CREDIT_RATES), defaulting to 100 credits per RUB, 9,000 per USD and 10,000
per EUR.
What AI operations cost
Prices are per operation, in credits:
| Operation | Cost |
|---|---|
| Assistant turn | 2 per 1k input tokens + 6 per 1k output, minimum 1 |
| Speech to text | 12 per minute, minimum 1 |
Text embedding (semantic search, POST /embeddings) | 1 per text |
| Image embedding (search by photo, an image in chat) | 5 per image |
| Synonym suggestions | 10 per query the model is asked about |
| Graph entity extraction | 10 per document |
| Graph community report | 15 per community |
| Graph claims extraction | 8 per document |
| Global Search (GraphRAG) | 5 per map call + 15 for the final answer |
| DRIFT search | 8 primer + 6 per follow-up + 15 reduce |
| Reranking | 2 per call + 0.1 per scored hit |
An assistant turn, a voice search or a photo search costs credits even when made with a search key from a storefront — the platform pays the model provider with its own credentials, and your wallet pays the platform.
The cost of a model call is known only when it finishes, so the platform
reserves an estimate first and commits the actual cost afterwards. A
reservation that cannot be covered is refused with 402 before any work runs,
and a commit never exceeds its reservation. A failed AI call costs nothing and
releases its reservation.
A storefront session using a search key may start 20 AI operations per
minute; beyond that it answers 429 with retry_after in seconds. AI
operations with a search key also require the X-NOVA-SESSION-ID header — a
missing one is a 400, not a 429.
Start a subscription
Open Console → Billing as an organization owner or administrator. Select a plan, review the amount and explicitly accept recurring-payment consent before opening Robokassa. A successful return page alone does not activate a plan: the verified payment notification determines payment status, so refresh Billing after paying rather than assuming.
Verify: the plan card shows the new plan and the wallet shows the included credits for the period.
Renewal, cancellation and grace
Monthly automatic renewal requires your consent. Cancel future renewals from Billing; cancellation does not refund a completed payment or delete documents.
If a renewal goes unpaid, the organization has a seven-day grace period before dropping to the free tier. Free limits then apply and stored data is retained.
Do not create repeated checkout attempts while payment status is uncertain. Refresh Billing and contact support with the invoice identifier. Never send card details or API secrets to support.
Top up credits
A wallet top-up is a separate purchase from a subscription and does not change your plan. Top-ups are bounded per transaction: RUB 100–500,000, and USD/EUR 1–5,000.
Verify: the ledger shows the top-up as a signed credit entry with the resulting balance.
Reading your usage
- Usage shows consumed requests against the monthly quota for the period.
- Wallet shows the credit balance and the ledger of every movement.
- Quota shows the current period and where the organization stands against its ceiling.
Every credit movement is a ledger entry with a signed amount and the balance after it, so a charge can be traced to the operation that caused it.
Common problems
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Plan still shows Free after paying | The verified notification has not arrived | Refresh Billing; if it persists, contact support with the invoice id |
403 with feature and plan | The feature is not in the plan | Upgrade, or stop calling that feature |
402 with available and requested | The wallet cannot cover the operation | Top up, or reduce the operation's size |
429 with resets_at | The monthly request quota is used up | Wait for the reset, or upgrade the plan |
429 on AI with retry_after | More than 20 AI operations/minute in one session | Slow the client down; retry_after says how long |
| Credits deducted but no answer | A model call that ran still has a floor cost | Check the assistant's error; a failed call releases its reservation |
